Sodium Isobutyl Xanthate (SIBX)

Structure:

Physical Properties:

Light yellow powder (or granules) with a pungent odor, easily soluble in water, capable of forming insoluble compounds with various metal ions.

Main Applications:

Sodium (Potassium) Isobutyl Xanthate is a strong flotation reagent used in the flotation of various non-ferrous metal sulfide ores. It is primarily used for the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, and other metal sulfide ores. It has been shown to be particularly effective in the flotation of various copper ores and pyrite in natural circuits.

Packaging:

Modified small-mouth steel drum packaging, with a net weight of 120 kg per drum. Open-top steel drum lined with plastic, with a net weight of 110/120 kg.

Woven bags with a net weight of 25 or 40 kg per bag.

Granular xanthate is packed in wooden cases with large bags, with a net weight of 800 kg per case.

Storage & Transportation:

The product should be stored in a cool, ventilated place, protected from moisture, fire, and direct sunlight.
