CAS: 625-57-0

Other trading names:

  • Sodium Diethyl Dithiocarbamate
  •   Ditiocarb Sodium
  •   Imuthiol
  •   Cupral
  •   Sodium Diethyldithiocarbamate
  •   Sodium DEDT
  •   Soxinol ESL

Molecular Formula:

(C₂H₅)₂NCSSNa·3H₂O

Properties:

White to grayish-white crystalline solid with no irritating odor, easily soluble in water. This product decomposes into carbon disulfide,

diethylamine, etc., when exposed to acid.

Main Applications:

The collecting ability of sodium diethyldithiocarbamate is similar to that of xanthate and black drug, but compared to them, it has a stronger

collecting ability, faster flotation speed, and lower reagent consumption. Due to its weak collecting ability for pyrite, sodium

diethyldithiocarbamate has good selectivity in the flotation of sulfide ores. It shows better selectivity than xanthate and black drug in the

flotation of copper, lead, antimony, bismuth, and other polymetallic sulfide ores. This product can also be used for the purification of metals in

metallurgy and as an accelerator in the rubber industry.

Packaging:

Packed in open-top steel drums with inner plastic bags, net weight of 40/160 kg per drum; packed in composite woven bags, net weight of 40

kg per bag.

Storage & Transportation:

Moisture-proof, waterproof, and protected from direct sunlight.
